Report on Lessons Learned on Environmental Sustainability & Climate Science

In order to convey Environmental Sustainability issues to students at Boğaziçi University from an interdisciplinary framework and to inspire them to lead capacity building actions in the future, the Faculty of Engineering, apart from the Institute of Environmental Sciences , Courses are offered at both undergraduate and graduate levels with an interdisciplinary approach within the scope of environmental sustainability in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences , Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Management Sciences and Faculty of Education .Faculty members of different departments develop multi-dimensional approaches to SDGs during the program creation process in order to support students to be aware of environmental, social, economic and political sustainability in business life.

In the 2021-2022 and 2022 – 2023 Period, the departments where Environmental Sustainability and Climate themed courses are offered within the scope of the relevant faculty are as follows:

2021-2022 and 2022-2023 Term – Environmental Sustainability Courses Table

When the courses covering Environmental Sustainability and Environment-related subjects are examined in the Fall and Spring Semesters of the 2022-2023 Academic Year, a total of 65 courses were opened, 31 undergraduate and 35 graduate courses.
